The Maya Project at school Tweemaster in Lisse

February 2010, the two branches of the primary school in Lisse Tweemaster three weeks in the theme of Guatemala and the Maya stood. Michael Large has taught all of the 16 groups Tweemaster. In addition, the teachers of the different groups themselves in fun activities developed. There was in kindergarten a special Mayan Angle set aside where children Mayan mask, students of grade 6 have themselves a huge map made of the Mayan Empire, and other students have been busy making their own include huipiles (Mayan dresses), weaving of bags and making great luck dolls. The project was completed with two busy nights viewing. The 400 students at the two sites have also subscription lists with 2000 luck dolls and more than 1,300 sold friendship bracelets. The total proceeds of the operation was less than 10,018 euros!
