Maya Market at € 7000 delivers!
October 2, the Guacamaya Foundation in collaboration with the school in Utrecht climb a Mayan market organized. The students have the Ahold Coffee Company donated coffee sold, and also old toys, trinkets from Guatemala, and snacks and drinks. Small children walked through the school choir and sang for charity. Piece of the Market Close Maya Maya folk dress was a fashion show. Impulsis by a grant from the city Utrecht and the yield was tripled and was ultimately up to € 7000! The yield of the market is used for a reforestation project.
